SLO Noor Foundation depends on the involvement of volunteers to who provide a variety of services. Volunteers come from all walks of life, and a broad age range from 18 to retirees, and are all able to supply clients with services that would be difficult to obtain otherwise. Volunteer services cover several broad categories: Foundation Work, Fundraising/Public Awareness, Clinic Work and areas of special expertise.

Foundation Office – Administrative
Most of the volunteer work in this area revolves around the office. We use volunteers as office receptionists and to assist us with projects, such as computer data entry, bulk mailings, general office organization, and other related tasks.
This category covers volunteer involvement in the area of special events such as walk-a-thons, Food Pantry Drives and other community events. We want to create a volunteer team tasked specifically with fundraising and cultivating business partnerships.

All volunteers must submit professional licensing (when applicable), have a tuberculosis test, and agree to commit to clinic confidentiality practices. After submitting the application you will be contacted for a personal interview before being assigned a volunteer staff position.
