An estimated 20 to 30 percent of residents of SLO County are uninsured. In most cases, those without health insurance forego seeing a doctor. Sometimes the only health care the uninsured have is the emergency room.
Seeking emergency care for your health can drain the financial system of a community.
SLO Noor Clinics help alleviate the costs of uninsured ER visits and focus on preventive care, so patients can maintain their health rather than waiting for an emergency situation.

The SLO Noor Foundation is a volunteer-based, non-profit organization dedicated to providing high quality free healthcare to uninsured people living within our community.
Our team of volunteers, including physicians, nurses, phlebotomy techs, and clerical staff serves San Luis Obispo’s uninsured by providing free primary, eye, and specialty care, along with education, outreach and advocacy. . . because no one should go without healthcare.
This enables our patients to lead healthier and more productive lives, which in turn, has a positive impact on their families and our community.
We need your help to expand our services and keep our doors open. Our Miracle Thousand program was inspired by Dr. Ahmad Nooristani.
The goal is to enlist 1,000 individuals to give a recurring monthly donation of $10 or more and to have 100 businesses donate a recurring monthly donation of $100 or more.
With the success of the Miracle Thousand program, we could shorten the appointment wait time from 2-3 months or more, to a few weeks. This would allow us to expand our services in our medical, eye and dental clinics. Together we can make this happen!
