Needs ‘N Wishes Fundraiser a Huge Success!

We recently received our annual gift from Los Osos based non-profit, South Bay Seniors – People Helping People, amounting to over $19,000. Over the past seven years, their cumulative gifts to us have exceeded $100,000. The donation represents a share of the proceeds from the group’s very successful annual Needs ‘N Wishes Holiday fundraiser in December.

“People Helping People is a cherished partner of SLO Noor and their ongoing support is vital to the care we provide to uninsured persons throughout our County”, said Rupert Chowins, OD. Richard Margetson, President of South Bay Seniors — People Helping People reported, “SLO Noor is a perfect partner for us because, like us, their success is based on the effective use of a large network of volunteers. We are firm believers in their model.”
